Our Paramedic colleagues will now be able to prescribe additional pain relief as well as medication for palliative care and mental health needs within the service.
The changes relate to the following medications in these preparations;
- Morphine sulphate by oral administration or by injection
- Diazepam by oral administration or by injection
- Midazolam by oromucosal administration or by injection
- Lorazepam by injection
- Codeine phosphate and co-codamol by oral administration
